Post Ref: CC195The Council’s dedicated print service utilises its resources to assist in the provision of an efficient, on demand, cost-effective printing, and reprographics service.
To support the implementation of this, the Printing team are excited to recruit a Reprographics & Printing Officer to help us to deliver the service expected to support the Council, its members and the public.
The ideal candidate will be part of a fast-paced team providing a dedicated, quick turnaround, on demand print service.
They will be vital in the support role for the provision of printed materials to aid in the delivery of key messages of the Council and in helping to highlight its services.
The candidate would be expected to use their experience at providing a personalised service and support through sound advice, technical knowhow and learned experience to deliver a tailored service.
Prime responsibilities are for the efficient operation of the team’s reprographic equipment including a high-volume copy/duplicator and colour copier, and to learn the operation of the range of finishing equipment, including guillotining, folding, collating, perforating, numbering, and binding to customers’ orders.
You will be expected, through on the job training, to eventually learn all other aspects required to be a valuable member of the team.
With continued supervision, training and one to one conversation you will be assessed to progress through career grading towards Scale 5.
