Post Ref: FWP389An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor (Adult Social Care) to work within the litigation section of the Council's Legal Services. The successful applicant will be required to provide legal advice and representation on behalf of the Council. The post holder will carry a full caseload in relation to the Care Act 2014, proceedings in the Court of Protection, advice on deprivation of liberty, mental health and social care debt.
The post holder will need to be enthusiastic and work effectively as part of a team and have excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
We are happy to consider candidates with no previous public sector experience, as training will be provided, making the role well suited to a variety of legal backgrounds. The role requires commitment to delivering excellent customer service to support the clients improving service quality.
