Calderdale Sports Services operate four facilities: Sowerby Bridge, Brighouse and Todmorden Sports Centres, and the Shay Stadium.
The service ensures the effective, efficient and safe operation of the Sports facilities, to provide the highest standards
of customer Service and to satisfy the requirements of the Organisations Policies, Procedures, and Service Operating Plans.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can ensure that staff are well motivated, good working relationships are fostered, and personnel problems are satisfactorily resolved or reported.
The day-to-day operation of the facility comply with Health & Safety legislation, normal operating procedure and emergency action plans, taking the lead role in an emergency, acting as Fire Warden and First aider.
Essential qualifications are;
• Pool Plant Operators Certificate CIMSPA/ Active IQ
• RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
• IOSH managing safely
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
