Post Ref: FWP821Calderdale Council are looking for a passionate and driven leader for a relatively new unit within the Community Safety and Resilience Team which has been designed to provide a 24hour Wardens Service responsible for delivering CCTV monitoring, visible patrols of Calderdale and facilitating the Council's out of hours emergency response.
The service acts as ambassadors for the Council delivering a high visible presence across Calderdale and working in partnership with all relevant agencies, such as the Police and Fire Service to address issues across the borough. The team will work in Calderdale's Town Centres and residential communities assisting in the reduction of crime and anti-social behaviour, promoting a positive image of Calderdale.
The successful candidate will lead by example and empower a rota-based team to deliver the best service possible. You should be dynamic, flexible and passionate about keeping those who live, visit and work in Calderdale safe. You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership, organisational and communication skills and be familiar with working in a fast-paced customer focused role. Fluent in the English language and a full UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
The successful candidates for these roles will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks at the appropriate level prior to appointment, along with other relevant employment checks.
