Multi Agency Screening Team comprises a multi-agency team of social care staff, police and health colleagues with attendance as required from other services. It operates borough wide and is the first contact point for all new referrals regarding children and young people. As a social worker in the team you will be responsible for the gathering and sharing of information, which is analysed so an appropriate and informed response can be made.
Children's Assessment Team has four pods which consist of a practice manager, advanced practitioner and five social workers with administration support. As a social worker within the team you will be responsible for providing a quality service to our children in need of support and protection. The team undertakes child and family single assessments, section 47 enquiries and covers all aspects of planning, up until the appropriate transfer point to the relevant locality or children looked after team.
Applications will be considered from qualified social worker (BA/DipSW/CQSW or equivalent), registered with HCPC and can demonstrate qualifying experience gained within statutory children and family services.
