Post Ref: RS013This role will take the lead on the enterprise strand of the activity within the wider Inclusive Economy project based primarily in Park and Warley , this will include:
* Delivering a package of support to help local people set up businesses or local enterprises.
* Identify and support key areas for business growth and try and influence individuals to use this information to establish worthwhile and sustainable enterprises. In particular the role will be closely working with the Leeds City Region Ad-venture programme to link in the start up support and available grants.
* Work with procurement and other colleagues to identify gaps in supply chains for services where local businesses could be developed. You will have a sound understanding of employment, recruitment and the needs of local businesses, including a track record of helping businesses to establish themselves and grow. You will be an experienced negotiator with great communication skills and a commitment to getting the best outcome for people whatever their background.
You will ideally have a Level 4 qualification in providing Information, Advice and Guidance. Experience of working in a wide range of working environments with a variety of partners. You will be keen to learn and use your skills to work within a wider team to deliver a more inclusive economy. Download: Role Profile / Inclusive Economy Document
